Oakridge Builders is a division of Flintco, LLC, which began as Tulsa Rig, Reel & Manufacturing Co. (TRR) in 1908. Oakridge Builders was incorporated in 1975 and began their first general contractor job in 1983.

Q What opportunities exist for internships?
Students enrolled in their college’s construction industry program can apply for internships to fulfill curriculum requirements. We generally hire interns from the institutions closest to our Tulsa office. Q Does Oakridge Builders regularly evaluate its employees for promotions, salary increases and other opportunities?
Yes. At a minimum, performance evaluations are conducted annually. Oakridge Builders’ policy is to promote from within whenever possible.

Q What is Oakridge Builders’ dress code?
Oakridge Builders promotes a work environment appropriate to the business. For construction management and crews attire the utmost attention is given to Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA) requirements to ensure a safe work site. At Oakridge Builders’ offices, business casual is preferred.

Q Does Oakridge Builders require its employees to travel?
The amount of time required for travel is dependent upon an individual’s particular job. Some positions require regular travel, while others may require none at all. When considering a position with Oakridge Builders, the interview process will disclose how much travel is required with the position.

Q What if I have to relocate during my career?
Oakridge Builders has a relocation program available for employees who, on rare occasion, are relocated within divisions.

Q Does Oakridge Builders recruit on college campuses?
Oakridge Builders supports two-year and four-year college level construction programs, as well as high school and vocational School-to-Work programs by actively recruiting, participating on advisory councils and offering curriculum and financial support to those programs.

Students enrolled in their college's construction management/construction science program can apply to work at Oakridge Builders to fulfill part of their curriculum requirements. Oakridge Builders’ program is flexible to meet the needs of each college or university. For internships, we hire from local colleges and universities in closest proximity to the Oakridge Builders’ office located in Tulsa.
